December 13 – 23 2024
Once we embark on our Argentinian tango journey we never stop learning, because we continue to discover new aspects of ourselves. This retreat supports this idea that we should always strive to understand new and better ways of moving our bodies to the music. To be brave and interpret the rhythm in a way that brings joy – as well as surprises – for our partners and ourselves. If you want to polish your technique, to cultivate your own “style” and discover new concepts, then this retreat is for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
We gathered the answers to some popular questions below.
If you can’t find your question below feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to help.
Do I have to have prior tango experience?
Yes. This bootcamp is designed for intermediate/advanced dancers in Argentinian Tango (see description) who are interested to take their Argentinian tango techniques and knowledge to an advanced level. This translates to someone who is a tango addict, having visited festivals and marathons, as well as milongas. (your Facebook profile is required)
Can I book private lessons?
Yes. You can enquire for additional lessons with the maestros, or with the professional teachers who will be supporting us during the group classes. During the retreat we will schedule time slots for private lessons or other activities that are not on the itinerary.
Do I have to speak Spanish?
No. The Argentinian Tango classes are taught in English. Your hosts are fluent in German, English, Cantonese. Our assistants obviously in Spanish as well as English. Our maestros who are internationally active, speak English.
Can I arrive earlier or leave later the retreat dates?
This depends on availability of the tango guest house (often they are full booked) and how early you inform us of your dates. We have our rooms for the ten days of the retreat. For a day prior or later, we can certainly arrange for accommodation for you.
We will let you know the extra nights and additional airport transfer fees if applicable.
Can my personal partner, who does not dance tango, share my room?
This retreat is solely for tango dancers, and we have limited space. However, if we have space to accommodate (no guarantee), then yes. We will deduct 40% for the classes. Your partner can take part in our non-tango activities, such as city tours and our three evening meals. Attending milongas would have to be paid separately by themselves. But this depends on availability.
